A ritual powered by the energies of the Full Moon in Aquarius and the whimsy of the rune Peroth (sound: puh) which brought us into close connection with our inner children. Movement, circles, performances. What we learnt from our mothers about play, do we play to win or do we play to play? when and where did our mothers learn to hide their children, where did they become ‘workers’ and kill their playfulness? where do we kill our playfulness? what can this landsea of the Wirral teach us about our playful natures? How may we unsettle our notions of productivity and what kind of politics does that create in a world seeped by reproductive values of capitalism? Thank you Peroth and water spirits for guiding us in this amazingly sweet ritual and in our group divination with the runes. It was a real treat sharing in the energies of participants of this ritual!
