This open letter is a demand for global land justice and declaration of solidarity with struggles for liberation in Congo, Palestine, and Sudan. The ongoing mass murder of human lives, land, and ecologies in Congo, Palestine, and Sudan is a form of intense spiritual and material violence which forces us to reflect, politicise, and begin organising as an anticolonial, anti-imperial, and unsettling land-based spiritual movement. We must demand the end of genocides and colonial oppression in Congo, Palestine, and Sudan, and reaffirm the centrality of land justice for global spiritual justice and healing.
This letter is open for signatures from both individuals and groups. Its purpose is to politically mobilise and raise awareness within magical and spiritual communities about the connections of our struggles with land justice and anticolonial resistance. We particularly encourage you to bring the conversation into your spiritual and magical communities, covens, and groups both online and offline. Please use the open letter to start conversations about your community/group’s spiritual and magical politics, communal actions you may take together, align them with decolonising and unsettling struggles for land justice, and sign the open letter below:
