Horoscopes are relational maps. They enable awareness of our unfolding relationships to outer space from our varying times and positions on Earth. They give us vocabularies and timespace for developing our relationships with intentionality, accountability and reciprocity within the vast and complex community of our solar system. In doing so, horoscopes tell us about the stellar energies present and available to work with at any given point in spacetime. They remind us that we are in material-spiritual community with not just our human and unhuman kin on Earth but also in a larger community with our galactic relatives that demands response-ability.
Relationships need stories to be challenged, grow, learn, and survive. So horoscopes are often read as layered and polyvocal stories. The horoscopes this month are told as your Lunar Nodes story. In other words, they are organised by your Lunar Nodes signs: the South Node and the North Node.
The Lunar Nodes reside where the lunar orbit cuts our Earth’s movement around the Sun, thus signaling a unique Earth-Moon-Sun relation. Since the lunar orbit intersects with the Earth’s orbit around the Sun at two distinct points, we have two lunar nodes, the South and North which are directly opposite to each other. In Hellenic astrology, the Lunar Nodes are represented by the Dragon, the North Node representing its head and the South Node its tail. Symbolically, the South Node is represented by

To find your Lunar Node signs, you need to look at your birth chart or your natal chart. Generating your birth/natal chart online will require you to input your date of birth, place of birth and time of birth. Since these are sensitive data, I highly recommend that you use only trusted web sources or other online cloaking technologies to protect your privacy.
A typical Hellenic natal chart may look like this:
The 12 zodiac constellations (Aries, Taurus, Gemini…etc.) typically go around in a circle and are represented by Graeco-Egyptian symbols in a Hellenic natal chart. These symbols look like this:
Aries: ♈︎ , Taurus: ♉︎ , Gemini: ♊︎ , Cancer: ♋︎ , Leo: ♌︎ , Virgo: ♍︎ , Libra: ♎︎ , Scorpio: ♏︎ , Sagittarius: ♐︎ , Capricorn: ♑︎ , Aquarius: ♒︎ , Pisces: ♓︎
Having got hold of your natal chart, you now need to note the zodiac constellation in which the South Node symbol appears. The North Node symbol will lie in the sign directly opposite. Together these will represent your Lunar Node signs.

What is fearsome about practicality? Does the thought of materially grounding or investing in a relationship with a person, situation or project feel scary? Can you stay with this fear and feel how it runs in your body and where? And now that you can physically acknowledge and accept your fear, can you journal with it? Speak to it. Write your fears a letter (or more!)
North Node in Gemini, South Node in Sagittarius
How does fear of the unknown affect your ability to play? How are inner conflicts and procrastination generated in service of avoiding feeling this fear course through your body? The answers won’t be immediate, and no solution to dispense, just a relationship to build with your fears as you wait, approach, acknowledge, stay with it, let it enter you and kiss it with love. It’s here for a reason, a messenger from beyond.
North Node in Cancer, South Node in Capricorn
What is the relationship between your hopes and fears? How does the fear of receiving exactly what you hope for play with you? And how is the fear of receiving hurt tied into it? You have seen tough seasons that give you depth, and you’re more of a star than you think. Let your wisdom guide you. Remember that particular view of stars would not be possible without this Earth.
North Node in Leo, South Node in Aquarius
Fearful of losing someone or something? Or an existential cry. How might your perspective shift if you change where you are sitting-standing? Literally! Take a lone walk and talk to the trees, water, and rocks. Listen to what they say to you in return. Their messages will come through your body.
North Node in Virgo, South Node in Pisces
Whose burdens are you carrying, are they yours? But did you actually shoot the albatross? What feels scary about not attempting to do someone else’s work for them? What are you trying to control really? Is all this extra baggage really security or just something that’s familiar? What might you have to gain in giving it all up? You are more independent than you think you are and you can thrive on your own without carrying others. A bird is a kindred spirit that will hold messages for you.
North Node in Libra, South Node in Aries
What is scary about being stupid? No, I mean actually a fool, where you are not all-knowing? What is scary about being perceived as stupid? There’s no need to judge deception, it may also be a coping mechanism. In times of turmoil, instead of trying to be strong and protect everyone, what will being vulnerable open up for you? How does it feel in your body? Journal with it.
North Node in Scorpio, South Node in Taurus
Can balance and movement be mutually exclusive? Think of scales, they are hardly still. Who does the veneer of harmony protect when storms rage? Who are you trying to protect really? From what? And are the paths you are inclined to choose now really that practical or sustainable in the long-term? Movement towards the unknown could be only playfully scary if one thinks of it as an adventure. Take inspiration from percussion and wild horses.
North Node in Sagittarius, South Node in Gemini
How does the fear of making the wrong choice play into your situation? How does it work with overwhelming, ostensibly conflicting desires? Analysis-paralysis might not be your friend and can trap you in an illusory fantasy of azure perfection. Be aware of this as you prioritise and take action towards your true desire. Life will play you if you only study and don’t play with it. Meditations focused on the heart chakra will help.
North Node in Capricorn, South Node in Cancer
What kinds of fear underlie the need to constantly take action? What is scary about procrastination? How do capitalism and incessant need for productivity shape these fears? Might you be able to distinguish procrastination from a need to rest and give yourself some grace? Your worth does not lie in what you produce or the actions you take. You have inherent value, much loved as part of this Earth.
North Node in Aquarius, South Node in Leo
In what ways does receiving…receiving attention, receiving compliments, receiving love, receiving gifts, receiving the spacetime to express your truest self… feel intimidating or challenging? In what ways does such intimidation manifest in your corporeal body? What paths and possibilities do you allow when you become more open to receiving? What everyday habit can you cultivate to enhance your receptive power? Set intentions while walking along the water or taking a soothing shower or a bath to receive messages from water spirits. Ask and you shall receive.
North Node in Pisces, South Node in Virgo
How are you triggered by so-called superficial relationships or friendships? In what ways does engaging in light-hearted and playful connections feel uncomfortable? This does not mean you have to push yourself into those connections or situations, but merely as an observational exercise: what kinds of insecurities does it bring up? It is okay to have different kinds of boundaries with different people; it does not make you deceptive or hypocritical. What were you told in your childhood which conflicts?
North Node in Aries, South Node in Libra
Does commitment… to a person, project or idea feel scary? What is scary about expressing your heart and investing in it in real terms of action? In what ways does FOMO manifest when you least expect or desire it? What story are these fears trying to tell you? Something from long ago, when you were a kid, which you may have forgotten? An old letter or new conversation may hold some answers.
